One thing that might make this even easier is if you already use Mac OS X. You can now simply drop the wine into your glass! You just open the Winebottler app, put the wine you wish to pour into it, click the red" poured" label on the top right hand corner (if you're using a brandy or a vintage wine), then drag it over to the other side until you have the glass half way full. It's a really useful tool, and you will appreciate its simplicity once you try it. You can find a Winebottler free download for almost any operating system today. After all, there is nothing worse than having a perfectly good bottle of wine out on the table and then having to pour a bit into your glass before drinking because you misread what the instructions say! After years of living in the hills of eastern Italy (where the local people are completely amicable and always help when I need something) I decided it would be fun to try to open wine bottles using the tap method. If you are curious about how a wine bottle opener works, well, lucky for you I have written an article about it! It is interesting to me that one day I discovered something so useful.
